Meet the Candidates 14 August

Due to the passing of Councillor Pat Kelly, Horizons Regional Council is holding a by-election for the Palmerston North constituency. The regional council has an extremely important role in managing the health of our environment and looking after our natural resources for future generations. To find out who you think would be the best voice to represent you and represent the environment on the regional council, come and hear the candidates speak at 5.30pm, Tuesday 14 August at the Palmerston North Convention Centre on Main Street. You will also have a chance to put questions to the candidates, so come prepared with some curly questions! The election will be by postal vote, with voting papers sent out at the start of September and voting closing on 21 September 2018.
